A small family run bed and breakfast situated 2 minutes walk to the seaside in Meols on the Wirral Peninsular.
We are a 10 minute walk to the train station where you can get a direct train to Liverpool which will take approx 25 minutes and the trains run every 15 minutes at peak time. Chester is 35 minutes away by car and North Wales is 45 minutes away by car.The Wirral peninsular has many cycle routes and counrty parks for you to explore as well as an interesting history of Roman and Viking habitation, our local pub ( 5 minutes walk away ) has a viking ship buried in blue clay in the car park.Wyngate is less than 2 miles from the Royal Liverpool golf course, where the 2006 British Open was held and close to the many other golf courses on the Wirral. The 2007 European Sand Yachting competition was held in Hoylake which is less than half a mile away.Wyngate is a home from home and our breakfast produce is bought from a local farm in Thurstaston and in summer we grow our own tomatoes for your breakfast.Arrive as a stranger leave as a friend.
Directions.
Exit M53 at junction 2 and follow the Moreton sign. From Moreton then follow the Hoylake sign until you go over Meols station bridge and take the second road on the right called Dovepoint road, take the third road on the right called Guffits Rake, at the top of Guffits Rake turn right into Bennets lane and number 26 is on your left hand side.
