Converted from an old farmhouse, our licensed bed and breakfast hotel is set in the heart of the magnificent South Downs in the hamlet of Charlton, West Sussex.
The Woodstock House Hotel offers an ideal base for visiting the numerous attractions of the area, which include horse racing at Goodwood, The Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit and Aerodrome, Chichester Festival Theatre, The Weald and Downland Museum, West Dean Gardens, Petworth for its many antique shops, The National Trust Properties of Petworth House and Uppark and Midhurst for Polo and the historic castle ruins at Cowdray Park. The South Downs Way passes just behind the hotel making our bed and breakfast Guest House a great base for walking. Our accommodation comprises of 12 en-suite bedrooms with all modern amenities set around an attractive courtyard garden which was originally the farmyard, and where we now serve our residents complimentary afternoon tea on arrival in the summer.
Directions.
Leave the A3 south of Guildford and take the A286 to Midhurst and on towards Chichester at Singleton turn left, after one mile you come to the Hamlet of Charlton the hotel is immediately on the left.
