Squirrel Bank is a charming bungalow set in woodland yet only a short walk away from Lake Windermere.
There are two well equipped comfortable bedrooms each with en-suite shower or bathroom, a choice of twin or superking (6)beds.Breakfast with lots of choice is served in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful woodland garden. Packed lunches are offered and special diets are catered for. Advice will be given on any aspect of your holiday, including the offer of concessionary rates on green fees at the local golf course. If you are without transport a pickup from Windermere station is available. Three nights only on Bank holidays. Special three nights breaks midweek only up to the end of May. Please enquire. Minimum of 2 nights at any time. Booking of one night at weekends accepted if one night only is available.
Directions.
Exit the M6 at Junction36, take the A591 towards Kendal and Windermere. At the end of the dual carriageway there is a large roundabout take the 1st exit B5284 signed HAWSHEAD VIA FERRY AND CROOK Squirrel Bank is approx 7 miles away.If coming from Windermere village follow the A5074 until you come to the roundabout at the bottom of the hill. Go straight and take the first left on the Kendal Road. Approx. 34mile on there is a sign for KENDAL the B5284 take this left turn and Squirrel Bank is 100 yds on the right.
