Simonburn is a peaceful Olde Worlde village situated two thirds of a mile off the B6320, halfway between Hexham and Bellingham, in the beautiful North Tyne Valley.
The Bed and Breakfast accommodation caters for up to 8 guests. The rooms are very clean and comfortable in a quiet, traffic free location. All rooms have a colour TV and tea-coffee making facilities. Please note that all the bedrooms are situated on the first floor. The cosy dining room caters for up to 22 guests where you can enjoy superb home-made cooking. During the summer months you can also enjoy the terrace garden. The Tearoom and Craft Shop also offer the services of a rural Post Office and provide a range of local produce for sale. **Billback is not accepted by this establishment - payment must be made either on check out or before arrival**.

Directions.By rail-Bus - Hexham is the nearest rail link located on the main newcastle to carlisle line. Simonburn is a twenty minutes taxi ride or there is a regular bus service that runs between hexham and bellingham. The bus stop is at nunwick and it is a five minute walk to the village of simonburn. International visitors - Newcastle international airport is a forty minute drive from simonburn car hire is available at the airport. It is also possible to take a short ride by metro train from the airport to newcastle central station where you can change to a train for hexham and then taxi or bus. Walkers and cyclists - Hadrians wall is a comfortable two and a half miles walk from simonburn. The national byway loop cycle route that uses hexham as its base, is a 23 mile round trip easily achievable in one day and includes simonburn in its sign-Posted route.
