Directions.
From the South:
- Follow the A66 west for half an hour, bypasing Keswick and continue alongside Bassenthwaite Lake to Cockermouth.
- Turn left at the roundabout onto the A5086. The Shepherds Hotel and Lakeland Sheep and Wool Centre are on your left hand side.
From the North:
- Exit the M6 at junction 44 heading west through Carlisle onto the A595.
- Bypass Cockermouth and turn left onto the A66.
- Turn right at the next roundabout onto the A5086. The Shepherds Hotel is on your left hand side.
