Amid the historic surroundings of Bridge of Allan, near Stirling, the Royal Hotel and its adjacent lodge between them offer en suite rooms, a bar, a restaurant and events facilities.
The ideal location for business and leisure, the hotel is just 30 minutes from Glasgow and 40 from Edinburgh. The Royal Hotel is an excellent base for touring Stirling and the Trossachs.
All of the rooms are decorated to the highest standards, in keeping with the Victorian charm of this magnificent listed building. Please note that some rooms may be located in the lodge, situated 275 metres from the main hotel.
The Royal is proud to present a new grill restaurant, featuring the best steaks to be found in the area. Many weeks were spent sourcing the very best of local produce to ensure that the quality of food served to you is second to none.
Directions.
From The South:
m1, m6, a74, follow the signs for Stirling, m73, m80, m9 to junction 11. At junction 11 there is a large roundabout; take the fourth turning on the left which is sign posted Bridge of Allan. Follow this road (a9) into the village centre, where you will find the Royal Hotel on the left-hand side.
From The North:
join the a9 and follow the signs for Stirling/Glasgow. At the junction of the a9 there is a large roundabout. Take the second turning on the left, which is sign posted Bridge of Allan. Follow this road (a9) into the village centre, where you will find the Royal Hotel on the left hand side.
From Edinburgh Airport:
take the M9 towards Stirling/Perth to junction 11; follow the directions from junction 11 as above.
From Glasgow Airport:
take the M8 towards Glasgow and the M80 towards Stirling, join the M9 and follow the directions as above.
By Rail: take the train to Bridge of Allan train station. When leaving the station turn right onto the main road (Henderson Street). Continue through the village, seeing the Royal Hotel on the left-hand side.
