Situated in a prime location on Blackpool’s North Promenade, the hotel, overlooking the Irish Sea, is set just a few minutes' walk away from Blackpool Tower, the theatres and shopping centre.
Offering clean and comfortable rooms, all of which are en suite, the hosts, Pete and Fiona, look forward to give a warm welcome to guests old and new at this charming sea-front hotel.
The Rockcliffe has a licensed bar which is open from 11:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and until midnight at weekends. On busier weekends, if there is sufficient demand, karaoke is run on Friday and Saturday nights from 21:00 to midnight.
Directions.
From the M55 motorway:
- Continue for the Promenade (clearly signposted), past the Tower and North Pier (with the sea on your left).
- We are half a mile north of North Pier. From North Pier you'll pass the Metropole Hotel on your left, the Revills and Royal York. We are situated between the Royal York and Tiffanys (big pink one).
- Pull into the car park and give us a wave to help you with your bags.
By train:
A taxi ride from the train station takes a few minutes.
Walking:
- As you leave the platform, turn right and exit the train station via the smaller exit by the parcels office.
- This brings you onto Dickson Road. Keep walking till you see a cafe named Xanders.
- Turn left onto the Promenade then right past Manhattan & Royal York Hotel. We are situated 2 hotels past Royal York.
By coach:
National Express coach services operate to and from Blackpool throughout the year.
From Lonsdale Road coach park (South Shore):
- Make your way to the promenade and catch a tram north.
- Exit the tram at the Claremont Hotel.
- Alternatively, you can take a taxi.
Talbot Road bus station is next to the train station. Follow directions above.
Blackpool Airport is about 6 miles away, from where you can take a taxi.
