Some portions of The Priory date back to the early 1600s - the restaurant area was used as a Catholic Mass Centre from about 1650 and the residence was the priest's house. You will find the atmosphere very relaxed, and you are welcome to stay all day - read the papers in the bar and chat to other customers and staff.
We are ideally located, plenty to see and do. We are within easy reach of Garstang, Preston and Lancaster. Great for birdwatchers, hikers and bikers. Fantastic location for the families and only 11 miles from Blackpool. You can also go fishing, shooting and gliding!
All rooms are ensuite and well equipped. Our menus range from breakfast, which is included and lunches and light snacks to full evening meals. The food on offer is of a traditional English flavour with international dishes appearing on the specials board. We source all our food locally using Fylde Coast or Bowland Forest produce and Garstang cheeses.
