Mount Royal is a Georgian, part Victorian house and has been a family run business for over 38 years offering quality serviced guest accommodation.
The house faces the sea and overlooks the entrance of Penzance harbour with panoramic view of Mounts Bay, St. Michaels Mount and the Lizard peninsula. The pictures shown at the right of this page are actual views which may be seen from our front bedrooms, the dining room and lounge. Spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities, some with bath and some with showers. Premier rooms with spectacular sea view. PRIVATE OFF THE ROAD PARKING IN OUR OWN GROUNDS IS FREE OF CHARGE. Individual lock-up garages are available at extra cost for persons wishing to leave their car whilst visiting the Isles of Scilly for a week or longer. Mount Royal is a totally non smoking establishment, we are not able to accept dogs or any pets. PLEASE NOTE OUR PAYMENT TERMS ARE CHEQUE OR CASH, WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDITDEBIT CARDS. LATEROOMS DO NOT TAKE ANY PAYMENT FROM YOUR CARD. Step back in time in the elegant Victorian dining room and enjoy freshly cooked breakfast served to you at your own table in the traditional way with polished silver cutlery, silver tea and coffee pots, Wedgwood crockery and white linen table-clothes. Directions.
Mount Royal is situated on the main road entering Penzance before reaching the shopping centre. On the outskirts of Penzance, one will pass the heliport on the right hand side of road. A short distance on, there is a roundabout, keep on inner lane and take road to town centre. Within a few minutes, one will see Mount Royal on right hand side of road, the sea will be on ones left.
