This fine Victorian mansion is set on the northern outskirts of the ancient and royal burgh of Tain, one of Scotland's oldest boroughs, within a stunning mountainous landscape.
Built in 1903, this historic hotel’s grand design and spacious, luxurious and elegant rooms provide accommodation of the highest quality and comfort. The building has been extensively modernised, carefully refurbished and tastefully decorated to maintain its original character of graciousness. The hotel prides itself on the calibre of its well-trained staff and the warmth of its welcome.
It makes for an ideal base for outdoor pursuits and sporting activities such as golf, shooting, fishing or enjoying the local tourist attractions. Such a convenient location is perfect for travelling around the beautiful highlands of Scotland. Having been previously part of the Swallow Hotels group, Morangie House Hotel is now under private ownership. The hotel was taken over by John Shearer in April 2008.
