The Melvin House is a beautiful Victorian town house hotel just minutes from Princes Street.
It is in Edinburghs West End. Victorian charm and grand architecture the minute you walk up the entrance steps and walk through the elaborate wooden archway and take sight upon the fabulous marble stairway. The hotel also boasts one of Edinburghs finest private libraries.All the bedrooms have bathrooms or shower-rooms and most have excellent views. Lovely dining room and bar for our guests to enjoy.
Directions.
If coming from Waverly Station we recommend a taxi as it will take about 5 minutes and cost around 4-6 GBP. Alternatively you can walk or get the bus. Any bus that goes along towards the west end of Princes street will take you near the hotel. If coming from the Airport the the number 100 bus will take you to Shandwick Place where you can walk straight down Walker Street.
