from m6 take turnoff 36 south lakes you are now on the a591kendal bypass road to windermere turn left into windermere village, as you exit the village you drop down into bowness look out for a police station on the left hand side, we are on the second road on the left past the police station.we are the first guest house on the right on biskey howe road. from windermere train station it is a 20minute walk to bowness village and the melbourne guest house.you could take a taxi and that takes about 5minutes
