Directions.
England-Scotland via M6, M74 then M8 and A8, heading for greenock,then gourock, where you have the choice of two ferries. (we use western, cause theyre every 20 minutes-about one mile past the calmac sign) but if youre a foot passenger use calmac its closer to Mccolls..take either western or calmac ferry from gourock. on arrival in cowal,exit from western ferries, turning left,continue along the clyde, for 1.5 miles till you come to dunoon town,straight over 1st. round about (near swimming baths-youll see the waterslide on the side of the pool building,) 400 meters on, the road swings to the right up to a second roundabout,turn left, leaving the calmac ferry carpark to your left, still keeping the clyde on your left.continue for 200 metres, passing the statue of robbie burns great love,highland mary on you right, at the foot of thegreen castle hill,as you pass the hill Mccolls tall white hotel will appear on your left. from calmac ferry, turn left were only 150 yards along the road. free car parking in the lower carpark. next to our all weather bowling greens. its a straight road along side the clyde all the way A navigator with PA23 7HN will take you there but will try to send you via calmac!P.S. if you have time, phone the hotel, we can send you ferry tickets, at a saving of around 50% (theyre cheaper on this side!)
