Just off the A1, 9 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed and three miles from Holy Island and the heritage coast, The Manor House perfectly placed for walkers or those who simply want a peaceful escape into some of Britains finest countryside.
The Manor House is a delightful large stone built house that has nestled in the hamlet of Fenwick since 1755. You are assured of receiving a warm welcome from Kate and Mike at this bed and breakfast, which carries a four star tourist board rating.
Fenwick is just off the A1, 9 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. Holy Island, which is just three miles away, can be viewed from the property. The heritage coast and St Cuthberts Way pass our gate, retracing the famous monks footsteps to Holy Island. The spectacular Alnwick Garden and Castle where the Harry Potter film was made, is only 15 minutes drive south. A 35 minute train journey takes you to Edinburgh for the day. The border towns of Coldstream and Kelso are only a short 20 minute journey.
Why not visit the many castles and country houses, or try walking or golfing, horseriding, bird watching, or cycling on the cycle route which passes our house? Whatever your reason for stopping, we can guarantee you a memorable stay in comfortable surroundings.
Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. During July and August guests must stay for a minimum of 2 nights on Fridays. Check-In time: 14:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00.
