Set in the peaceful foothills of the Trossachs, this exclusive country retreat is renowned for its magnificent scenery and accommodation, complemented by an unrivalled range of outdoor pursuits.
Overlooking strikingly beautiful mountains, on the shores of Loch Ard, the hotel provides a haven of peace and tranquillity, amid 25 acres of mature woodland and landscaped gardens, from which you can try mountain biking, fly fishing, guided walks, one of the popular ghost walks and archery.
After a long day you can return to the hotel to relax with a drink on the terrace, read a good book in the lounge or stroll along the pathways that meander through the beautiful grounds and alongside tumbling burns.

Directions.
From the South/Edinburgh: - Take the M9 motorway towards Perth. - Exit at junction 10 (A84). - Follow signs to Thornhill (A873). - Then follow Aberfoyle and The Trossachs (A81). - From Aberfoyle, take the B829 to Kinlochard, which follows the lochside to Forest Hills.
From the North: - Take the A9. - Join the M9 for Stirling/Glasgow. - Exit at junction 10. - Then, as above.
From the South West and Glasgow: - Take the M8. - Exit at junction 16. - Take the A81 to Aberfoyle via the Clyde Tunnel. - Then, as above.
By Air: Airports at Glasgow and Edinburgh connect to most British airports. From there follow road directions as above.
By Rail: Stirling is the nearest mainline station for intercity and sleeper services. Forest Hills is 35 minutes by road, take the A84 Callander Road and then A873 Thornhill and A81 Aberfoyle.
