The Log House is an historic Norwegian log cabin in Ambleside, the heart of the English Lake District.
Originally brought to the Lake District by Artist Alfred Heaton Cooper nearly 100 years ago as a home and studio. The Log House now serves as a restaurant and bar with three luxury en-suite bedrooms.Please note the restaurant is closed for dinner Sunday and Mondays

Located on Lake Road (A591) 30 minutes away from the M6.From the M6 leave at junction 36, and follow the A590 signposted for Windermere. At the roundabout take the second exit for Ambleside (A591).We are located on the left hand side on Lake Road
