Ideally positioned for guests to enjoy Ayr’s shopping centre and wide variety of bars and restaurants, Leslie Anne guest house is also an excellent base to explore Ayrshire, South West Scotland and the Clyde Coast.
The Guest House is situated close to Ayr town centre and railway station with links to Prestwick Airport (5 miles) and Glasgow Airport (30 miles).
Ayrshire’s famous golf courses are all nearby.

By Car:
From Prestwick Airport (10 minutes by road):
- Turn left at the airport exit and follow the signs for Ayr (A79) through Prestwick.
- Continue straight through 2 roundabouts.
- At the 3rd roundabout at Ayr College take the 3rd exit.
- Proceed over the river Ayr.
- At the next double roundabout (by Ayr Station) take the 2nd exit, followed by the 1st exit into Castlehill Road.
- Leslie Anne Guest House is just past the pedestrian crossing opposite Morrison’s supermarket.
From Glasgow:
- Follow the A77 South.
- Take the 2nd turn off for Ayr onto the A70 into Holmston Road.
- At the double roundabout take the 1st exit at both parts of the roundabout into Castlehill Road.
- Leslie Anne Guest House is just past the pedestrian crossing opposite Morrison’s supermarket.
From Stranrear:
- Follow the A77 north.
- At the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit sign posted Ayr (A713) into Castlehill Road.
- Go through the 1st roundabout.
- At the 2nd roundabout (Morrison’s supermarket) take the 2nd exit.
- Leslie Anne Guest House is 100 metres on the right-hand side.
From England:
- From the M6 continue onto the M74 and exit at junction 12 for Douglas and Ayr (40 miles).
- Follow the A70 To Ayr.
- At the M77 roundabout on the edge of Ayr take the 2nd exit into Holmston Road.
- At the double roundabout take the 1st exit at both parts of the roundabout into Castlehill Road.
- Leslie Anne Guest House is just past the pedestrian crossing opposite Morrison’s supermarket.
By Train:
There is a good train service from Glasgow and Prestwick Airport to Ayr. The train service south of Ayr links directly to the ferry at Stranrear.
The guest house is 3 minutes walk from the station:
- Turn left at the station gates and follow the pavement to the pedestrian crossing.
- Cross the road and turn left again, following the pavement over the bridge and round the corner to the next pedestrian crossing.
- Cross the road, turn right and the guest house is 20 metres on the left-hand side.
By bus:
The guest house is 10 minutes walk from the bus station with express services to Glasgow and extensive services to other parts of Ayrshire and the Clyde coast.
