400 year old cottage set in an acre of garden, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, close to the historical towns of Okehampton and Tavistock. We are 45 minutes by car from the dynamic coastline of North Devon and Cornwall, also 45 minutes from the Eden Project.
The 400 year old cottage is set in an acre of garden, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, 7 miles from Okehampton, 10 from Tavistock. Local pubs/restaurants are historic and traditional to the area. We are close to the Granite cycle path, and stunning tourist attractions such as Lydford Gorge. We are 45 minutes by car from the dynamic coastline of North Devon and Cornwall and 45 minutes from the Eden Project, Exeter and Plymouth. The two bedroom cottage provides well equipped accommodation: one double and one single room. There is a wood burning stove plus modern conveniences (such as the dishwasher) to make life easier. All bedding is provided. Food is not. For the adventurous (time of year and weather permitting) there is also the option of using the Mongolian Yurt. Lounge and rest, cycle, walk, have a BBQ in the garden. The opportunity for some seriously good 'time out'.
