Located in Marygate of the edge of the bar walls, it is the ideal position for a stay in the ancient historic city of York where past and present fuse into an eclectic mix.We have 22 en-suite bedrooms, of which 10 are newly refurbished rooms.The types are standard double or twin, four poster, superior double and superior zip (doubletwin)All rooms have a colour television and tea and coffee making facilities as standard.All stays include full English or continetal breakfast.We would like to infom all guests that we are still undergoing refurbishment but this will not disturb your stay.
Directions.
By car-From the York ring road A1237 turn on to the A19 signposted York Centre. Follow the road all the way to York for 2.3 miles. Turn right before the walled gate which is sign posted Marygate. Jorvik hotel is 34 of way down road.By foot-Walk straight through York Museum gardens. Jorvik hotel is directly opposite.
