Herdship Farm in Middleton in Teesdale

A cottage that provides you with farm holiday accommodation in some of Englands finest countryside. Situated in upper Teesdale, County Durham, the holiday cottage is nestled only 100 yards from our farmhouse and even less to the Herdship Farm Walk.

At Herdship Farm, cosy, self-catering accommodation is provided in Frog Hall, a two bedroom cottage set in the North Pennine Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Herdship Farm is 570 acres in size and supports beef cattle and sheep - visitors are very welcome to watch farm activities.

The surrounding countryside is spectacular. There is a well-signposted farm walk on which an array of wildlife and the remains of the Ladys Rake lead mine can be observed.

Frog Hall offers visitors the opportunity to relax and savour the atmosphere of a country dales cottage after a hard days walking, sightseeing or bird watching. Come home to a wonderful atmosphere, warm bath and an evening in front of a real open fire in the large, comfortable sitting room which has beamed ceilings.

There are two bedrooms a double and a single and additional beds can be added if required.

Please note that bookings must commence on a Saturday for 7 or 14 nights.
