This Christian, family-run bed and breakfast is situated 3 minutes’ level walk from Paignton’s main beach and town centre, and 5 minutes’ walk from the bus and train station.
Many of the country’s finest golf courses are within an hour’s drive, and driving ranges and pitch and putt are close by. Paignton and Torquay are popular for water-sports, and throughout the year there are several events, including surfing competitions, sailing, diving, wind-surfing, water-skiing opportunities and exhibitions. There are tennis courts and bowling greens, and fishing is also very popular in Paignton.
Torbay is known as The English Riviera, which boasts a diversity of atmosphere, entertainment and amenities for all ages, surrounded by scenic countryside.
We cater for families, couples and singles wanting a break in the country, from one night stays and weekend breaks to longer stays. We are open all year.
We welcome contractors and business travellers. Wedding parties, hen or stag parties will need to be booked in advance.
We can provide flowers and chocolates or champagne / wine and chocolates, delivered to your room or on arrival (at an additional cost).
Directions.
By Car:
- Follow the M5 motorway to Exeter, then the A38 and A380 dual carriageway connection to Newton Abbot.
- Head for the seafront, then turn right along the A379 towards Paignton.
- Turn left towards Paignton seafront.
- Beach Road is located opposite the beach green, after the first set of traffic lights.
By Rail:
- Paignton train station is 5 minutes walk from the Haldon Guest House.
- From the station head towards the seafront.
- Turn left at Grand Central, then right at Beach road - the guest house is number 6.
By Air:
- Both Exeter and Plymouth airports are just 40 minutes drive from Paignton.
- A taxi service can be arranged.
