The Gladwyn has ten comfortable en suite rooms which have all been refurbished and redecorated using unique themes and imaginative colours. You will also find some very nice original art work around the building.
We have a family room so families are more than welcome and well behaved pets are invited to accompany their owners. Our public areas are all wi fi enabled (at no additional charge) so you can even bring your laptop.
The Gladwyn is ideally situated opposite Devonshire Park and just around the corner from the Devonshire Theatre, the Congress Theatre, the Winter Gardens and the new arts centre. The Gladwyn is a short walk to the town's shops and the beach.
Directions.
On Foot:
From the seafront, proceed down Lascelles Terrace (next to the TGWU building) past the Devonshire Park Theatre into Hardwick Road, then left into Blackwater Road, where the hotel is situated on the right-hand side, opposite the International Lawn Tennis Centre.
From the Tourist Information Centre, proceed along Cornfield Road into Cornfield Terrace and take the 1st turning right into Blackwater Road where the hotel is situated on the right-hand side opposite the International Lawn Tennis Centre.
From the railway station, proceed up Gildredge Road and left into South Street. Then turn immediately right into Spencer Street and left into Blackwater Road, where the hotel is situated on the left-hand side opposite the International Lawn Tennis Centre.
