York Minster regarded as one of the four most important gothic cathedrals in Europe the Minster is the largest medieval building in England. If you have a head for heights and are fit you can climb the steps to the top of the tower 60 meters (197 feet) above the city and get a birds eye view of York. Beneath the Minster you can visit the under croft museum and crypt.
