With historic features, this 3-star country house hotel is set amid 6.5 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens, just 4.8 km (3 miles) from central Wrexham.
When you visit Cross Lanes, you will be touched by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape which provides the ideal backdrop for your holiday break or business occasion. Built in the Victorian era, with historic additions dating as far back as the 17th century, the hotel offers elegant rooms and an acclaimed brasserie.
Cross Lanes is just 19 km (12 miles) south of Chester, 32 km (20 miles) from the M53 and within easy reach of Wrexham, Llangollen and the area’s main attractions. Cross Lanes was originally built as a private house during the reign of Queen Victoria and was converted to a hotel in 1959. The Victorian features and homely feeling have been carefully preserved to this day. In addition, the superb oak panelling in the front hall, older than the original house, dates back to the Jacobean period (circa. 1618). It was rescued from Emral Hall in Worthenbury and carefully restored at Cross Lanes.
