We aim to provide you with a comfortable holiday home from home This beautiful hundred-year-old stone-built Church and Stable have been tastefully converted to provide three spacious and comfortable self-catering cottages. The four star cottages are heated by oil-fired central heating and are well equipped to provide you with all you should require for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
Kirkend can accommodate up to 5 people in a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a sleeping gallery. The large living room has a pot belly stove similar to the ones which heated the church originally. The large bathroom and the kitchen are accessed from the living room. The sleeping accommodation is all on the first floor.
Lonnenend sleeps four people in double and twin bedrooms. Downstairs is a spacious open-plan living room/kitchen which is accessed through the original church entrance porch. The bedrooms and the shower/toilet are on the first floor.
The Stable provides a double bed in a large open-plan studio apartment divided by the original stall posts into dining, kitchen and sitting area, and bedroom area. The bathroom with shower is accessed from the bedroom area.
The cottages are set in extensive, interesting, well-tended gardens with seating areas, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside.
Chollerton is a tiny hamlet in the valley of the North Tyne, near several picturesque Northumberland villages. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Chollerton is just 2 miles north of Hadrian's Wall, 6 miles from Hexham and 8 miles from Corbridge. Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead Metro Centre are 25 miles away.
Within an hour's drive are the unspoilt Northumbrian Coast, Alnwick, Carlisle, Kielder Forest, and the Scottish borders.
