The Bridge House is beside the River Tees the boundary between North Yorkshire and County Durham. We are a short drive from Scotch Corner making it an excellent stopping place on the journey between Scotland and the South. This is a traditional 18th century cottage style house offering comfortable and spacious accomodation. Piercebridge is a charming village on the site of a Roman Fort on Dere Street, the supply route from York to Hadrians Wall. The Dales and historic cities of Durham and York are easily accessible. You are welcome to relax in the riverside garden and enjoy the birding and wildlife. Local and organic produce offer delicious breakfasts.
