The Black Boy is situated in the heart of this historic town and is open all day every day for food and drink. We offer free car parking at the rear of the building for up to 15 cars.
The Black Boy is a very beautiful beamed building with lots of character and charm. It retains a lot of its original features, it is said to date back to 1700 and was mentioned in the novel "The Pickwick Papers". It offers accommodation, food and bar, which is open all day every day. The hotel is a family run business and prides itself on having very friendly and helpful staff. Please note that all of our rooms are now non-smoking.
Directions.
Coming from either Colchester, Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, just follow signs for Sudbury Town Centre. When in Sudbury, we are situated on the right hand side of the main Market Square (black and white timbered building).
