Just a short stroll from Sidmouth's bustling centre, the hotel is set in its own private, manicured gardens at the western end of the town’s striking esplanade.
Sidmouth is surrounded by beautiful countryside too.
It is a great stretch for walking. As part of the Jurassic Coast, the cliffs at Sidmouth are famous for their internationally important geological features and abundance of fossils. In the summer you can take guided walks in the company of a local expert from Sidmouth Museum to take a closer look at this World Heritage Site.
During your stay you can take advantage of the wonderful terrace where you can take your time over a Pimms or a light lunch as you savour the wonderful sea views. The end of the day is a special time on the terrace too; balmy evenings and perfect sunsets make it a unique setting for an evening to remember. Weekly dinner dances and a summer entertainment programme are always popular in the hotel, as is the hotel's putting green. Furthermore you are entitled to use the fantastic facilities at the adjacent Victoria Hotel. These include outdoor and indoor heated pools, tennis courts, sauna, solarium and spa bath, as well as a mini-gym, an 18-hole putting green and snooker table (some may incur additional charges).
