From the city centre follow signs for A7 or A68 (Jedburgh). From Princes Street it is approximately 5 minutes by car, or 10 minutes on bus services that travels along Old Dalkeith Road (Lothian Bus Nos 33 and 49 and First Buses No 86 and No 79). Kingston Avenue is the last turn off on the right hand side from Old Dalkeith Road before the New Edinburgh Roya Infirmary.
