Located on Northgate, two minutes from the town centre and XII Century Priory ruins, the property is a former miners cottage, completely refurbished to a superb quality whilst at the same time retaining original features. Nominated also as one of the 2007 finalists by the Yorkshire Tourist Board for sustainable tourism.

The nearest beach is at Saltburn, only 5 miles away.
