Within a few minutes walk across the Meadows you will find the Royal Scottish Museum in Chambers Street and the historic Greyfriars Kirk, famed for both the Covenanters and Greyfriars Bobby. The Royal Mile with Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace at either end is close by with Princess Street just beyond.
